An evening walk across the moor from Minions, following the old railway line. Was especially impressed to spot the Great Spotted Woodpecker, sadly he was on the ground, so not great shots. Spotted two little Wrens flitting around an old stone wall, a bit of a struggle to get them to stay still, in one place, for more than a second.
This is a great spot to see a range of birds. It’s not usual to see African animals up on the Moor, so surprised to see a zebra on the walk back to the car (Yes, its a horse in a zebra print horse rug!)
