Called into Par Beach on my way to do my shopping at B & Q and Asda, It’s a lovely sandy beach which is usually home to a selection of seabirds at the Harbour end of the beach. The sand dunes are home to a range of little birds and the rivers at either end attract birds, including Kingfishers on occasion. Best of all is Par Duck Pond (or as the official sign calls it “Par Beach Duck Lake”), it;s usually got a selection of gulls and Canada geese on it. If you look around you usually spot some other birds, including the occasional rarity.
And the Coffee van *Cognitive Coffee* in the Main Car Park is worth a visit!
Nothing rare today, but I’m quite happy to get some Blackcap photos.
