Most days, I’ve been walking the same route on Bodmin Moor for a couple of weeks now – mostly trying to find some Common Redstarts. I’d seen an adult fox 2 or 3 times walking across the Moor and last weekend, I spotted two cubs – who delighted in playing Hide and seek with me from behind lumps of granite and bits of bracken. Tonight, I thought I’d wander up and see if I could see them again – Well, I only saw one, but it made itself comfortable on top of a moss covered rock and studied me quite intently – it was a bit unnerving to start with – but it shortly became rather lovely. I’ve snapped rather a lot of photos – but I think this selection are my favourites – if not technically perfect!
To put it mildly, I’m over the moon with them.
