9th September 2024 – Tokenbury Corner

I’d seen reports of Whinchats in this area last year, but had never managed to spot one.  This year a local birdwatcher told me they were about again, so we headed up after work for a quick visit and luckily just as we were walking back towards the car we spotted one quite low in the bracken.
I’m quite chuffed, this a Life tick for me!
