My new lens arrived today – so right after work, I just had to dash out and try it out. I was pretty chuffed to spot the Male Reed Bunting, otherwise it was robins and Tufted Ducks. No shortage of Buzzards pretending to be Kestrels over the fields full of Mole hills!

I came across a lamb with a front leg and its head stuck in a wire fence… I freed it… and it then ran off, on the wrong side of the fence from it’s Mum. It took a while to catch it, picked it up, it wriggled impressively, but it didn’t stand a chance with my Lamb whispering skills… So I walked along the fence, followed by Mum on the other side of the fence, until I reached a gate and was able to reunite child with it’s mother.
