We headed up to the Moor near Minions to carry on our search for a Common Redstart.  We’d caught a glimpse of one previously, but it was a very fleeting glimpse as the sun was setting.  This time however.we were lucky enough to see two Juveniles in a tree and just as I was about to pack the camera away and head home, a stunner of a Male Redstart appeared in a tree, in the very last fe wminutes of bright sunlight and posed for me.  I was over the moon to finally grab a Common Restart photo for my collection.  On the way back to the car, we saw several Yellowhammers, and I find it hard to resist snapping their photos – they are such characters.
