After a trip to Tavistock this morning and a very nice lunch, we called into Lopwell Dam Nature Reserve, hoping to see an Osprey that had been reported there. We didn’t see the Osprey, but did see (but didn’t photograph) a Great White Egret, a Sparrowhawk and numerous Kingfishers.
Highlight of the photos were the two Mute swans who came into land right in front of use, it’s quite amazing to watch.
I only noticed when editing the photos, that the Cormorant has been caught by some fishing gear.
