Birds in Cornwall
Hi, I’m Steve and I live on the edge of Bodmin Moor, not far from the town of LIskeard, here in South East Cornwall in the UK.
I’ve always been interested in being outdoors, photography and birds. But only quite recently, and after my first trip to New Zealand, that I become really interested in taking photographs of birds.
I’ve always been a Canon user, though for my first New Zealand trip, I used a Panasonic Lumix TZ90, because it was small and easier to take everywhere.
Back in the UK I started using a Canon 7d Mkii along with a Sigma 150 – 600 mm C. – a combination I’ve been very happy with. Recently I’ve added a Canon EOS R7 which I use with the Sigma and an appropriate adapter, again I’m very impressed with the combination.
I’ve since added the RF800 lens to my R7 and I kindly let my lovely wife use the Canon EOS 7 and the Sigma.
I’ve always uploaded a selection of my photos to Social Media sites, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, I recently decided that I’d finally setup a website as a better way of displaying my bird photo collection.
