A weekend away around the Somerset Levels. We had a lovely weekend and was great to see the Goldeneye with her young (It’s quite far South for Goldeneye to bred I’m led to believe).
We had a walk around parts of Chew Valley Lake – where I snapped the photos of the Reed bunting and Te Goldeneye. The next day we headed off to Glastonbury and then on to RSPB Ham Wall, it was an impressive nature reserve – and it was great the Great Crested Grebe with it’s young and then, just to make my day, I saw the Marsh Harrier (Just wish he’d of come a bit closer, so I could have snapped some better photos!)
