We visited Bude for an hour or two, and as it was dry, though grey and dull, we went for a wander along the Canal and around Bude marshes. What a place, and what a great place to spot birds – that said I failed to get any photos of the stunning Bullfinch we saw, but was suitably impressed by local resident, Malcolm the Mandarin duck – stunning colours and he posed ever so nicely.
