I’d gone for a wander from Minions up towards the Sharptor road. It was a nice walk, though mostly dull with a few brief sightings of sunshine. Very fe wbirds were seen, so it was a special treat to watch a Great Spotted Woodpecker fly alongside the the old railway line, and even better when she decided to perch in a nearby tree for a few seconds and let me snap a few photos.
