As the sky looked brightish after lunch, we headed up to Siblyback Lake to see if any unusual birds were about. Loads of people wearing camo with Scopes, Bins and long lenses on cameras were about.
Apparently a Peregrine Falcon had just flown overhead and scared off the selection of Sandpipers that had been about.
We hung around for a while and were lucky enough to see a Pectoral Sandpiper, sadly it was a long way away – so photos aren’t brilliant. However can’t complain on my third life tick in 3 days..
