4th April 2025 – Golitha Falls

Hottest day of the year so far apparently. Anyway it was dry and sunny so called into Golitha Falls again, on the way home. It has an amazing number of Nuthatches, i’ve seen 6 or 8 every evening I’ve been there this week. The Grey Heron in the stream was unexpected and the Mallards just struck me with the amazing colours of their feathers in the sun.
Again, there were loads of birds I heard but didn’t see, including a woodpecker.
